Port of Subs Co-Op’s Support for Eddy House on National Kindness Day

On National Random Acts of Kindness Day, the Port of Subs Sierra Nevada Advertising Co-Op embraced the spirit of giving by extending a heartfelt hand to the Eddy House, located in Reno, NV. Established in 2011, the Eddy House serves as a beacon of hope for homeless teens and at-risk young adults in Northern Nevada, offering guidance, job skills, counseling, and unwavering support. Recognizing the vital role of donations in sustaining its mission, the Co-Op orchestrated a heartwarming fundraiser across all 36 stores, drawing attention from local TV and radio stations. With portions of the day’s sales dedicated to purchasing essential supplies, the Co-Op eagerly loaded up the van and delivered the much-needed provisions to the Eddy House facility. Amidst smiles and gratitude from staff and students alike, the gesture helped staff at the Eddy House build a path toward a brighter future for those in need.
