Advocating for Children in Foster Care

We are making a difference, one pinwheel at a time! The Port of Subs Southern Nevada Co-op was honored to support the CASA Program Pinwheel Palooza on April 12th, where hundreds of pinwheels were planted to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month and recruit more Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers.

Volunteers, judges, court staff, and child welfare partners gathered at Family Court to show their support and take applications from those eager to become CASA volunteers, advocating for children in foster care. When asked to provide lunch for these incredible volunteers, The Southern Nevada POrt of Subs Co-op didn’t hesitate to say “YES!” Working together, they served up delicious subs and refreshments, spreading the signature “sub-love” throughout the event. Thank you to everyone who joined us in making a difference!
