Record-Breaking Dedication
Store #106’s Commitment to Special Olympics Idaho
Store #106 in Nampa, ID embodies the heart of a neighborhood sandwich shop, fostering strong community bonds. Over the years, their partnership with Special Olympics Idaho has flourished from humble beginnings to something truly remarkable.
When called upon to feed over 1200 athletes for the Summer Games on June 8th, Manager Jessica not only accepted the challenge but also ensured seamless delivery. This effort led to record-breaking sales over the weekend, highlighting their dedication to service and community.
Store owner Liz Caldwell, was supported by teams led by Jessica Burton (store #106) and Bill Norris (store #129), and Rigo Maldonado (flying in from from Vegas) to provide moral support for the entire operation.
Together, the team orchestrated a flawless execution of a massive order meant to feed not just the 1200 athletes, but families, coaches, and volunteers as well! Port of Subs is honored to be the preferred food provider for these outstanding athletes, driven not only by their love for our food but also by the enduring relationships built by this Idaho team.
