In a heartfelt tribute to our local heroes, the Veterans Guest House in Reno, NV, received a touching surprise visit on Valentine’s Day. Employees from the Port of Subs Corporate Office arrived with a special delivery of red velvet cupcakes topped with chocolate covered strawberries, aiming to show appreciation and support to the veterans currently seeking medical care.

The management of the Veterans guest house expressed that the demand for veterans seeking overnight accommodations has recently been on the rise in Reno, making thoughtful offerings such as this one all the more special. While the veterans requested to not appear in photographs (and Port of Subs gladly respected their wishes) both the management and veterans alike were excited and grateful for such a sweet gesture. This visit was a heartfelt reminder of the sacrifices made by our veterans and an opportunity to express gratitude and love for them on Valentine’s Day.
