Exploring the Heart of Port of Subs: The E.A.T.S. Program
At Port of Subs, we’re on a mission to understand the heartbeat of our business.
That means recognizing the incredible team members who create our mouthwatering subs and offer first class service every single day.
Introducing the Port of Subs E.A.T.S. Program, or also known as the Engage, Appreciate, Train, Succeed Program! This groundbreaking initiative offers firsthand insights and valuable new perspectives, as we connect our corporate team with our frontline MVPs for an immersive day-in-the-life experience working at a Port of Subs restaurant.
In a recent E.A.T.S. adventure, we sent two of our corporate stars, Debbie Zelinski, HR Manager, and Linda Lawhorn, Payroll Supervisor, into the heart of the action at Store 147 in Reno, Nevada. Trading office attire for Port of Subs polos, Debbie and Linda rolled up their sleeves and were elbow-deep in the daily grind, baking bread, whipping up desserts, and helping with prep work, all while gaining a newfound understanding of the hard work our employees put into every sub.
E.A.T.S. magnifies the everyday hustle and bustle that keeps our franchise running like clockwork, all while presenting the opportunity to appreciate the unwavering dedication, passion, and hard work that our employees pour into every sub.
“I have a higher appreciation for what our employees do. The experience was eye-opening, and I loved every moment of it,” shares Debbie Zelinski, after her busy day spent at Store 147.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to the restaurants that extended this valuable opportunity to our corporate participants. We look forward to sharing more experiences as we learn all about the frontline experience in future E.A.T.S. visits!
